"Day One"

Hey there! Last night was pretty amazing.. Let me tell you I am a party animal: I sat and flipped between What Not to Wear and House Hunters. :)

Iced coffee + hazelnut creamer

Out of milk again = plain Grape Nuts

Parmesan crusted chicken salad with citrus herb dressing

Publix sushi: California Rolls, Tsunami Rolls, & Spicy Tuna Rolls. The Tsunami Rolls are my new favorite--not sure what's in them, but they sure are tasty!

I haven't worked out or even attempted to workout all week. I just have no motivation and it's getting old! Last night was my "last hoorah" and today is supposedly my "Day One."-- aka I have these every week. ;) What are your favorite ways to get motivated?

  1. HGTV and TLC rock my world!!! Another favorite of mine on HGTV is My House is Worth What? So fun! :)

    YUMMY sushi! I LOVE California rolls, but I've never tried Tsunami Rolls.

    I think my best motivator is a beautiful, sunny day. It just screams "get outside and DO something!" Go for a walk or jog by the beach, ride bike, whatever!

    unfortunately -- i totally can't give you any tips on getting pumped to work out cause i haven't hit up the gym in MONTHS -- but if you ever need any tips on how to getting motivated to do yoga, hit me up ;)

  4. I'm ashamed to say I NEVER have any motivation. The most I do is walking and situps. I can't bring myself to go to the gym. I just hate it so, so much and it never seems to do much good for me! So obviously I'm the wrong person to ask... lol

  5. Hey sweets--love your night last night! We all need those calm nights for our sanity.

    Motivation for me comes in different forms. It could be looking at family photos or reading these awesome blogs or reading a fitness magazine. Lately, I have just been motivated because I want to be the best self I can be--I don't want to settle for mediocrity. I wanna livvvvvvvvvve my life! haha I sound crazy!

  6. hey pretty girl! to get motivatated i just tell myself i can quit anytime i want to even if i do only 5 min what ever just get up and move. Usally though i feel great working out so i keep going. Its a great feeling to workout not to lose wieght,tone or what not but bc you want to see what you can do. you follow?haha

  7. Yum, that sushi looks delish! I also love your "mug shot" haha:) My favorite way to motivate myself is definitely listening to music. I have a whole play list of motivating songs that I play before a race lol.

  8. I would love to try sushi--maybe I should just attempt to make my own since there is none around here whatsoever! My motivation tip is just try to remember how energized you feel after exercising, even just for 10 min. Set a 10 min goal, and by the time you know it, a half hour or more will have passed!

  10. Mmm iced coffee sounds so amazing right now!!!

    I'm obsessed with the soy vanilla latte (hot or cold) from starbucks! LOVE!

    Just make a sick playlist with at least 4 or 5 new songs!! That'll guarantee at least a 15 or 20 minute workout sesh!

  11. Oooo the sushi looks delicious. I usually have a few hours spare after work and fill that time with some sort of exercise even if it's just a walk or swimming with a friend.
