I just finished my junior year of college at the University of Florida and will be home sweet home for the summer in FL. My goal for for these next few months is to get into a consistent and healthy eating/fitness routine.
1 tiny Granny (Smith) :)
Workin' on my fitness:
Post yummy b-fast I went out for my daily run. I'm VERY bad at making decisions, so it took me THREE tries before I finally decided where I wanted to go running .
The plan was a beach run.. I was hoping for a day like this:
But it turned out it was HIGH TIDE. I attempted to run it for about 15 minutes, but it was just too difficult. There was no room to run on shore.
So instead, I drove by Hulk Gogan's beach house for a little tourist time. :)
I finally decided to run a 1.5 mile sidewalk (down & back) alongside the water.
In the end, it all worked out.. literally! :)
LUNCH:
I'd like to call this the "Salad Concoction"
(I make a lot of these...)
Romaine, sugar-free bread & butter pickles, vidalia onion vinaigrette, ramano cheese, broccoli slaw
The secret YUM factor in this salad was...
Sauerkraut + turkey lunch meat!
First fried in a pan & then mixed all together.
WEIRD, but amazing..
I also had this orange + frozen blackberries combo:
Time to take my dog out for a walk!
I can't wait to share more of my healthy ramblings with you! <3 HBB
